Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering & Quality Leader to oversee engineering and quality functions within their organization. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering and quality teams to achieve performance goals.
- Develop and implement quality systems and engineering processes to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize production.
- Analyze data and utilize metrics to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Basic Requirements
- B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in manufacturing; at least 5 years in Engineering and/or Quality.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Engineering.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with querying databases and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
