Account Manager / Outside Sales - Benelux
As an Account Manager / Outside Sales for the Benelux region, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and further developing relationships with existing clients. You will identify commercial opportunities in the market and translate customer needs into tailored solutions and competitive quotations.
You will work independently, regularly visit customers and prospects, and actively contribute to the growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and acquire new customers
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
- Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on quotations and commercial agreements
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and coordinate internally with colleagues
- Identify market trends and commercial opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer data, reports, and sales performance tracking
- Build and maintain a strong professional network and represent the organization in the market
Your Profile
- Strong command of Dutch and English; French is a strong plus
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and account management
- Experience handling fragile, high-value, or sensitive goods (e.g. high-tech equipment, medical devices, or similar) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of logistics processes and the transport market is an advantage
- Understanding of pricing structures and rate setting within transport/logistics
- Technical affinity is a strong plus, enabling you to assess project requirements alongside technicians
- Customer-oriented with a solution-driven mindset
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Results-driven and entrepreneurial attitude
- Excellent communication skills
