Production Manager
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production processes. This role leads production teams, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement to meet quality, safety, and output goals in alignment with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all production activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety targets.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize processes and resolve issues.
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Oversee inventory, raw material usage, and equipment performance.
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of production management experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical processing, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
