Main Function
- Assist the Senior Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer with implementing and continuing development of site's E&I reliability program
- Serve as the technical resource for site's E&I maintenance, troubleshooting, new equipment specification
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Smart Plant Instrumentation (Intools) database
- Develop and review preventive maintenance (PM) tasks for electrical and instrumentation systems
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) through corporate dashboards
- Conduct root cause failure analyses on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Evaluate and implement cost-effective, reliable technologies to meet operational needs
- Research and apply best practices to improve asset reliability
- Lead and support change initiatives through the Management of Change (MOC) process
- Address audit findings and close programmatic gaps in E/I systems
- Manage and execute electrical and instrumentation projects
- Perform instrument calculations using tools such as Conval
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering
- Work experience in chemical industry
- Programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining process control - Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of supervisory experience over E/I technicians in a manufacturing environment
