Location: Greater Pittsburgh Region
Salary: $ 120,000 - $160,000 + relocation assistance
Summary:
A reputable chemical manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Engineering Manager for their Greater Pittsburgh Region facility.
Responsibilities:
The ideal Engineering Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Monitor plant operating data, analyze performance trends, and troubleshoot issues to ensure production targets are met.
- Evaluate raw material quality and support blend optimization to maintain product specifications.
- Identify, implement, and manage process improvements (e.g., debottlenecking, reliability, plant trials) using Management of Change procedures.
- Develop operating procedures, deliver operator training, and lead incident investigations to improve safety and performance.
- Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives-including capital improvements, process safety analyses, and technology advancements-while collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and supporting teams.
Qualifications
The ideal Engineering Manager will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's in an engineering discipline
- 7+ years of chemical manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated experience in equipment reliability and hands-on troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience leading capital projects, driving process optimization, and ensuring adherence to process safety standards
