Job Summary:
A global leader in natural food and beverage ingredients, known for its commitment to innovation and sustainability, is seeking a Project Engineer. This role leads engineering projects to enhance manufacturing processes, implement automation solutions, and support capital investments. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead capital projects from concept through execution, ensuring cost, scope, and schedule alignment.
- Develop engineering documentation, layouts, and cost estimates.
- Implement and maintain automation systems, including PLCs and SCADA.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and EHS compliance.
- Provide technical training and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in food, agriculture, chemical, pharmaceutical or similar heavily regulated manufacturing.
- Proficiency in PLCs (Allen Bradley), AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of automation, packaging systems, and engineering standards.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
