Our client, a renowned leader in the Consumer Goods sector, is seeking a Director of Quality to lead quality systems and hygiene/sanitation programs at a high-volume manufacturing site. This position is responsible for developing strategic plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards, and driving a culture of zero-defect thinking.. This role is ideal for a seasoned quality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and is passionate about delivering excellence in product and process quality. This role is based out of the Bowling Green, KY area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the site's quality strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Serve as the primary authority for quality standards, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Oversee implementation and governance of integrated ISO-based management systems.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, R&D, Engineering, and Operations to ensure flawless product launches and sustained quality performance.
  • Drive proactive risk management and root cause analysis to prevent quality issues.
  • Champion hygiene standards and partner with internal teams to maintain best-in-class practices.
  • Mentor and develop quality leadership talent within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Quality leadership experience, including site leadership roles in food & beverage manufacturing (top priority), pharmaceutical manufacturing, or other adjcent CPG industries.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and statistical tools
  • Strong business acumen with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO Lead Auditor) are preferred.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
