Quality Supervisor
Position Summary
The Quality Supervisor ensures product quality and compliance with AS9100, customer, and corporate standards. This role drives continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and employee awareness of quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and implement our client's Quality Policy and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards.
- Establish and review measurable quality objectives aligned with business priorities.
- Conduct management reviews of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintain customer satisfaction and communicate significant organizational changes.
- Plan and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
- Align resources to meet QMS objectives and maintain system integrity during changes.
- Serve as the primary source of QMS effectiveness information; lead audits and improvement efforts.
- Communicate quality requirements across all organizational levels.
- Develop talent through coaching and performance appraisals.
- Utilize and train others in quality tools (root cause analysis, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 7 years of quality-related experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical field.
- Aerospace investment casting experience.
- Familiarity with turbine engine components.
- Experience in PPAP and APQP implementation.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
- Proficient in problem-solving, data analysis, and quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC).
- Effective communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
- Proven track record in talent development and performance management.
