Director of Sales (West) - National Accounts

A growing provider of adhesive and packaging solutions is seeking a Director of Sales to lead national account growth and manage a team of three sales professionals. This remote role involves significant travel and focuses on strategic account management, new business development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow national B2B accounts with a customer-first approach
  • Lead and coach a small sales team to meet performance goals
  • Drive new business and secure long-term agreements
  • Oversee contract negotiations and maintain a structured sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer programs
  • Provide accurate forecasts and market insights
  • Represent the company at key industry events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years in B2B sales, preferably in industrial or technical sectors
  • Proven success with national accounts and large contracts
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience with CRM tools and data-driven sales processes
  • Background in packaging, adhesives, or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zoho, or Power BI
  • Knowledge of pricing strategy and value-based selling
  • Willingness to travel extensively (60%+)
