About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to oversee Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Menu Development for our U.S. operations. This role ensures food safety, operational excellence, and continuous menu innovation to delight customers and support franchise growth.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Food Safety

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive QA framework covering hygiene, safety, and product quality across all outlets.
  • Oversee audits (factory, warehouse, outlet) and implement preventive measures based on findings.
  • Lead investigations of customer complaints and food safety risks; establish corrective action plans.
  • Provide training and knowledge-sharing on QA standards for franchisees and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations and maintain close contact with authorities.

Supply Chain Management

  • Build and optimize supply chains for food and equipment to ensure stability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, packaging, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Manage procurement budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to secure favorable terms.
  • Oversee product imports, customs clearance, and logistics coordination for multiple regions.
  • Support franchise partners with reliable supply chain operations and contingency planning.
  • Lead supply chain expansion initiatives into Canada and other future markets.

Product Development

  • Drive creative menu planning by conceptualizing and launching new dishes and seasonal promotions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers on recipe development and product trials.
  • Conduct food tasting panels, collect customer feedback, and align offerings with local market trends.
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Training teams to roll out new products and SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in F&B supply chain, quality assurance, and/or menu development.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, supplier management, and cost optimization.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to balance innovation and operational discipline.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-border teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications).
  • Health insurance coverage (company contributes 80% of base plan for employee).
  • Retirement savings program (details provided upon hire).
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO) policy meeting California requirements.

  • Hybrid work model: primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in California.
  • Company-provided equipment as needed.
