Senior Sales Executive

We are seeking a target-driven, hunter-type Senior Sales Executive to join our dynamic commercial team. This is an external-facing role focused on the North UK region, including Manchester and Liverpool, with bi-weekly field visits. The successful candidate will be based in Birmingham and will report directly to Head of Sales UK.

You will be part of the commercial team, and play a key role in driving growth across our Far East, Indian, and USA services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a freight forwarding background who is passionate about bulk cargo and container shipping, and who thrives in a KPI-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development across the North UK region
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ideally bringing existing relationships
  • Meet and exceed KPIs focused on container volumes and ship boarding metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to the expansion of new services
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and quarterly HQ visits
  • Report regularly on sales performance and market trends

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in freight forwarding or shipping
  • Proven track record in sales and business development
  • Strong understanding of bulk cargo, container logistics, and international trade lanes
  • Experience with Far East, Indian, and USA services
  • Comfortable working in a Korean, family-oriented, respectful corporate culture
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and hungry to succeed in a competitive market
