In this role, you will lead the creation and execution of global sourcing strategies for critical categories, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term objectives. You'll partner across functions, manage strategic supplier relationships, and drive initiatives that deliver value and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated global sourcing strategies that adapt to dynamic market conditions.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic suppliers to maximize value and foster innovation.
- Lead complex negotiations, contract development, and risk management initiatives.
- Perform market and commodity analyses to guide sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align category strategies with business priorities.
- Mentor and develop junior sourcing professionals while leading cross-functional projects.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and cost optimization.
- Exercise discretion in negotiating high-impact agreements and coach others in advanced negotiation techniques.
- Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or a related discipline.
- Expertise in contract negotiation and knowledge of UCC and contract law.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and supplier performance.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring talent.
- Professional certifications (CPSM, CPIM, CPM) are a plus.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.
