Territory Manager
A long-standing U.S. manufacturer in the roofing industry recognized for its high-quality products, innovative technology, and strong commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and community values is looking for a Territory Manager. They are seeking a candidate with strong business-to-business experience who can think innovatively and remain resilient in the face of challenges.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial roofing systems to ensure quality standards and compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to customers and contractors on proper installation techniques for company products.
- Lead meetings and deliver presentations to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Prepare detailed reports and professional business correspondence to support sales and service operations.
- Coordinate and manage customer service initiatives to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Research and compile prospective customer leads using industry resources and market data.
- Travel within the assigned territory to build relationships with current and potential customers while promoting company products.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through samples, catalogs, and other sales tools.
- Present pricing options, credit terms, and prepare contracts for customer orders.
- Estimate delivery timelines based on production schedules and logistics capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or at least four years of relevant experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability and willingness to travel by air within and outside the assigned territory.
- Must be able to accommodate overnight travel as part of the role.
- Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Visual acuity sufficient for driving and inspecting roofing systems, with minimal color discrimination and accurate depth perception.
- Comfortable working extended hours as needed.

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 + quarterly bonus
