The Automation Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Meeting with employees 1-on-1 to oversee their work objectives
- Reviewing automation-related company expenses and preparing budgets
- Contributing to design of new applications
- Identifying security and performance improvements and maintaining system integrity
- Direct reports on employee development
- Coordinating internal and external personnel for ongoing projects
The Automation Engineering Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, etc.)
- 8+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior work in a manufacturing environment
- PLC programming skills
- Ability to identify plant problems and come up with solutions
- Being able to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical people
