An industry leading architectural solutions company is in search of a new Buyer / Planner to join their team!
Key Responsibilities of the Buyer / Planner:
- Reviews production schedules, order history and related information to determine material
- Determine amount of material required by applying knowledge of the product and manufacturing process
- Resolve any invoice and material issues
- Order, track, manage and keep sufficient inventories in stock. Follow up with vendors to ensure delivery dates are met
- Establish and maintain vendor relations via effective communication
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong background in materials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of SAP
- Effective communication skills
- Self-directed, independent
- Tactful, diplomatic, empathetic, organized
