A leading Computer Software company is currently growing it's procurement department. As a Procurement Category Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies and category plans under assigned indirect categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Finance, HR and Operations/Distribution business stakeholders to understand priorities, develop roadmaps and source Category initiatives such as Staffing Agencies, Print Providers and Finance Software
- Provide technical expertise, advising on market dynamics, risk, and third-party solutions
- Translate the business' vision into procurement requirements, to develop and implement strategic category plans that meet the goals of scalability, quality, and cost optimization
- Hold regular cross-functional stakeholder meetings to align on progress and new opportunities
Education and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or related fields
- Minimum 5+years' experience in strategic sourcing or procurement indirect categories
- Expert in advanced functions and features in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
- Experience in using procurement systems required (P2P, S2C, CLM, SRM)
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong cross functional communication and collaboration skills and experience
- Ability to clearly and convincingly present written and oral information
- Experience in supplier management activities including QBRs, Supplier scorecards and/or ranking preferred
