Job Title: Category Lead - MRO and Supply Chain.
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Our client is seeking a Category Lead to manage our MRO and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply of goods and services to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies for MRO categories
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost savings and secure supply
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to optimise the supply chain
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Develop and implement supplier performance management processes
Requirements:
- Fluency in Dutch is required.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on MRO categories
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and techniques, including strategic sourcing and contract management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the energy industry is preferred
