A global leader in specialty insurance is bringing on an IT Procurement leader to oversee their Cincinnati, OH operation. The IT Procurement Manager will be responsible for using their deep market knowledge to achieve cost saving goals as well as transform the department, moving it into a more agile, modern, procurement style.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong internal relationships with clients and requisitioners as well as strategic commercial relationships with vendors.
- Support internal clients to met project goals by assisting with requirements gathering for project planning, specifications (RFXs, Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Amendments) and provide recommendations if required.
- Stipulate quality and service level agreements with suppliers to ensure adequate measurement/response.
- Define and monitor value contribution and savings objectives are being met.
- Champion local procurement related requirements to promote and drive procurement value add.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of IT/Telecom procurement experience
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Innovative and independent personality, excited to take on new challenges and learn about IT transformations
