The responsibilities of the position include:
- Developing quality objectives and assurance plans for server products and suppliers, breaking them down by supplier, monitoring them in the factory, and ensuring their achievement.
- Leading or participating in major projects to improve product quality, identifying risks and planning strategically for high-quality outcomes.
- Participating in DFQ reviews of new products and TR4A/TR5/TR6 reviews to ensure product maturity and quality.
- Managing product quality and ensuring continuous improvement throughout the product life cycle, from new product introduction to mass production. Reporting on quality operations.
- Leading audits, assessments, portfolio management, and annual summary reports of supplier quality, and promoting systematic improvement of suppliers.
- Analyzing and improving major quality issues in production and the market, and conducting long-term quality checks for prevention.
Qualifications for this role include:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in electronics, communication, or electromechanical engineering (or a master's degree for 5 years/ bachelor's degree for 8 years or more in quality management).
- Familiarity with the production process, key technical control points, and quality exception handling processes for electronic products.
- Knowledge of whole-life-cycle quality management for electronic products, including quality planning and implementation for digital communication products, and experience in major project management.
- Familiarity with EMS/ODM/JDM supplier quality management modes, including QSA/QPA systematic audit diagnosis and guidance improvement, and experience in material quality management, and the ability to master quality control methods for secondary material suppliers.
- Familiarity with the product development process, supplier certification process, new product NPI process (TR review), small batch verification, and continuous improvement of batch production quality.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred
