A top chemicals company is looking for a Director of Manufacturing to oversee the production of their chemical sites. The Director of Manufacturing will play a pivotal role in overseeing the manufacturing operations of a top chemical company. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, ensuring adherence to quality standards, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
The Director of Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate, select, and implement industry leading operations best-practices across functional areas including supply chain, logistics, production, quality control, engineering and others in advance of start of production.
- Monitor the production processes, product standards and advise of schedule adjustments as needed.
- Develop training methodologies for effectively implementing systems within the Manufacturing Operations organization to ensure best practices are established and used in day-to-day operations.
- Develop implementation plans, timelines, budgets and tracking metrics/reporting for adopting and integrating best practices.
The Director of Manufacturing should have the following skillsets:
- 7+ years of experience in operations and manufacturing in the chemicals manufacturing industry.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex operational challenges and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience managing multi-site plants.
- Must be result oriented person.
