Director S&OP and Global Demand Management
The Director Global S&OP and Demand Management is a critical leadership position responsible for Sales & Operations Planning (including Integrated Business Planning) with all members of the value chain and leading Global Demand Planning in close partnership with commercial and regions.
Key responsibilities
- Sales & Operations Planning process reviews linking commercial, finance and supply chain partners
- Lead Global Demand Planning responsible for statistical forecasting, consolidation and integration of regional market intelligence, and strategic management of the Spine portfolio
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting & business analysis
- Drive closed-loop S&OP agenda, champion S&OP maturity and enable transition to integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Collaborate cross-functionally and engage with (senior) leaders in the franchise to drive the 5 steps of the S&OP process through financial integration, focusing on demand plan valorization, inventory management and overall business target setting
- Develop and govern S&OP policies, Demand Planning policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures
Requirements
- A minimum of bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in business, engineering, supply chain or other technical field. MBA or master's is a plus. APICS certification is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years related experience and minimum 3 years People Leadership
- Strong business and planning acumen
- Experience across at least 2 supply chain areas is important
- Confirmed experience with S&OP / IBP, demand planning and inventory planning
- Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP)
- Ability to develop, coach and guide a diverse team in execution, strategy, and realization of functional and franchise goals that inspires others
- Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
