As a response to recent legal changes, they are launching an exciting new project focused on transitioning prescriptions from paper to a fully online system.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Buyer to join our team. In this remote position based in Germany, you will play a pivotal role in our ambitious E-Prescription project. As a Project Buyer, you will contribute to the transformation of prescription management by leveraging your pharmaceutical procurement knowledge and ideally your expertise in prescription drugs. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the success of this groundbreaking initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for E-Prescription project needs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of the E-Prescription project by providing procurement expertise.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and advancements in prescription management.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical procurement is highly relevant.
- Knowledge of prescription drugs and the pharmaceutical industry is ideal.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable with remote work and digital collaboration tools.
