Industry Leading Logistics Company Looking for Engineering Project Manager

A leading warehousing and logistics company is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to assist in their rapidly growing operations. The Engineering Project Manager will plan, execute and finalize programs to meet scheduled deadlines within budget. The Project Manager will work with C-Level executives and design leads to establish project scopes/objectives and manage projects to fit the company's methods. The Project Engineer will also provide support to program team leads
The Engineering Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and enact program work plans and revise as needed to meet changing requirements and needs
- Identifies the needed resources and delegates individual responsibilities to internal and external resources
- Prepares quality assurance procedures, executive overviews, and engagement reviews
- Reduces risk and exposure on programs through risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Manages program review meetings with team members to ensure the projects are progressing as planned, issues are identified, and action plans are established
- Communicate project updates with team members, stakeholders, and executives
- Support in the recruiting, hiring, training and coaching of management team members
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or related field
- Warehouse operations/project management experience desired
- Able to communicate professionally, both written and verbally with internal and external points of contact
- Strong Project Management experience supporting supply chain functions
- Must be able to travel at an estimated 50-75% of the time to support programs
