Facilities Service Maintenance Manager:
The Facilities Service Maintenance Manager will oversee the daily maintenance activities in the warehouse for this leading global consumer goods firm. This person will be responsible for maintaining safe and effective functional facilities by directing the installation, maintenance, and repairs of all tools and equipment. This person will also plan and coordinate activities of refrigeration, maintenance and forklift associates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Clean room and office facilities service operations in support of manufacturing and quality, while remaining in full compliance with all necessary regulations
- Management of design specification, contract negotiation, time-lines and execution of various projects to improve and maintain facility operations
- Promoting safety, compliance, best practices, engineering standards, resource optimization and utilization of reporting metrics throughout the site
- Lead and manage the facility group
- Works with the general manager to develop annual budgets, ensure all department financial goals are met, and develop capital expense budgets to provide long term planning for the facility and its equipment
- Always in compliance with all OSHA regulations and PSM requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Technical Bachelors Degree preferred, equivalent years of training and/or experience acceptable
- 5+ years of experience within industrial manufacturing in a supervision or management position
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- HAZMAT certification preferred
