A leading automotive electronics company is looking for a new Global Commodity Lead for electric and electronic components in Paris. This company is a global leader in automotive technology, providing innovative solutions and developing new technology within the industry. The role of the Commodity Buyer is to maintain and build relationship with suppliers negotiation and ensure supplier performance. They will be responsible for commodities such as modules, PCB, connectors and cables.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for the purchasing of the commodities within the category
Manage and drive productivity action plans
Manage relationships and negotiations with new and existing suppliers
Conduct market research to predict future market trends
Skills and Experience
Experience in the procurement of electronic products
Experience of successfully managing and negotiating contract
Strong Knowledge of supply portfolio
Deep understanding of market dynamics and future trends
Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
Speaks business level English
