The Head of Global Procurement will be responsible for leading the procurement strategy and operations for the company. This includes managing the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services, as well as overseeing the supply chain and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and terms
Manage the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services to meet the company's production and operational needs
Oversee the supply chain and logistics functions to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships
Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement decisions align with the company's overall strategy
Manage and mentor the procurement team to ensure they are able to meet the company's objectives
Identify cost savings opportunities and implement strategies to reduce costs
Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in an ethical and compliant manner

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Experience in heavy industry preferred
Knowledge of procurement processes, laws, and regulations
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
