Our client is an industry leading solar development company and are looking for a Global Procurement Director of Strategy & Operations. Within this position, you'll be at the helm of their strategic vision in the renewable energy sector working alongside the CPO. Your expertise will propel forward their mission to redefine the future of sustainable energy procurement and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking global procurement strategy aligned with our organizational objectives, ensuring supply chain resilience and efficiency.
- Operations Excellence: Drive operational efficiency by optimizing processes, managing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain operations.
- Supplier Management: Identify, assess, and select strategic suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and build strong, collaborative relationships to ensure the highest standards of performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and engineering, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of procurement initiatives.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics and market intelligence to identify cost-saving opportunities, track performance metrics, and make informed decisions.
- Change Leadership: Lead and inspire global teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainable procurement practices.
