Company Summary:
As a global leading food & beverage company, we are looking to bring on a strategic Global Lead - IT Procurement. With the on-boarding of new leadership to the company, we are transforming our strategic procurement division with a new focus on best practices and cost-savings. This role will directly report into the Global Head of Indirect, and will require autonomy and strategic mindset of the candidate, as well as expertise within IT, infrastructure, and services. This position will have the opportunity to grow and develop within the company and across business units.
The Global Lead - IT Procurement will be responsible for:
- Creating and executing fully integrated long-term strategic plans to meet objectives and leveraging spend
- Executing successful supplier sourcing and negotiation to influence supply capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness, as well as managing existing relationships with industry-leading technology vendors
- Lead negotiations, strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and identify risks
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to proactively identify value-driven activities that deliver savings, working capital and continuous quality improvement
The Global Lead - IT Procurement should have the following qualifications:
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate contracts and terms with high-risk, industry-leading suppliers
- 8+ years Sourcing & Category Management experience in categories such as IT, softer/hardware, services, infrastructure, telecom
- Accountability and ownership of responsibilities and proven ability of meeting assigned deadlines
- Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree a Plus)
