Reporting to the Director of Procurement, R&D you will be responsible for overseeing the R&D Category and and enabling operations of this group by developing relationships with providers, negotiating and contracting solutions and achieving cost efficiency for a multibillion dollar leader in Pharmaceuticals.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Continuous improvement for cost reduction/avoidance opportunities
- Support and enhance sourcing processes to facilitate, automatize and bring more compliance into the R&D spending pool
- Building strong partnership and collaboration with the R&D and Finance group aligning on agenda and priorities
You must have:
- 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in Indirect Procurement ideally in Pharmaceuticals
- Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred understanding of Animal Health Industry and or Pharmaceutical R&D
