We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Procurement to join our team in 8063, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for our company, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our business objectives.
Job Description:
As the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for our company. You will work closely with our internal teams to identify the resources we need to meet our business objectives, and then source those resources from external suppliers. In addition, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that we are getting the best possible value for our money.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support our business objectives
- Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including identifying resources, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
- Work closely with internal teams to understand their resource needs and develop procurement plans to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure that we are getting the best possible value for our money
- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure that we are meeting our financial targets
Mandatory Skills:
- Direct Procurement experience
- Procurement experience within the industrial, manufacturing or aviation sector
- Experience managing a team
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with SAP or other procurement software
- Experience managing a team of procurement professionals
- Experience working in a multinational company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
- Professional certification in Procurement (e.g. CIPS, CPSM) (preferred)
