To meet our expansion goals and maintain our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Head of Quality to establish and build new quality processes within our organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with the company's goals and vision.
- Build, implement, and manage quality processes, including quality control, quality assurance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing personal care and cosmetic products.
- Build and lead a high-performing quality team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards and monitor the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including SOPs, quality manuals, and records.
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of quality processes and systems.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering a mindset of quality excellence throughout the organisation.
- Act as a point of contact for customer quality concerns, working to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Establish key quality performance metrics and regularly report on the status of quality initiatives to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality management within the personal care products and cosmetics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards relevant to personal care and cosmetics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with quality management tools and software.
- Proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken
