The Job
- Strategizing with key stakeholders to find cost efficiency and suppliers in order to discover the best ways to cut both project and operating expenses (CAPEX and MAREX).
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to work towards attaining key strategic sourcing KPIs, not limited to costs and performances.
* Operationalize the sourcing framework and ensuring full compliance to the Group Project expenditure and Procurement Policies.
* Design and build supplier value chain to cover proprietary, preferred, panel of IT vendors by expense categories and strategic initiatives.
* Lead centralised RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, proactive negotiations for cost savings and secure mutually beneficial IT strategic sourcing contracts. - Managing conflict of interests will be critical, including fostering good supplier relationships.
Improve the supplier value chain to ensure sourcing efficiency and timeliness. Conduct prescribed and definitive reviews.
* Incorporate and undertake centralized contract reviews, working closely with legal counsels as part of the end to end process. Negotiations of terms and conditions will be essential to protect the organization's interest.
* Building and maintain a robust vendor scorecard to uphold strategic deliverables and resiliency. Solicitation of feedbacks from stakeholders and users will be key.
* Ensure all IT procured goods and services have met suppliers' quality services/specifications as established and best value.
* Manage and coaching a team of procurement officers under the IT Strategic Management and providing mentoring.
* Communicate and build cross functional supply chain strategy within IT Project Management.
Our Requirements
- Degree from any recognized University (Finance, Engineering or accounting will be beneficial).
* Professional certifications in the field of Sourcing/Procurement/Supply.
* Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT Strategic sourcing, procurement environment and process development improvement.
* Candidate must possess strong analytical skills. Ability to deal with ambiguity and have a holistic view.
* Strategic vs tactical. Optimize strategic sourcing solutions.
* Self-starter, self-motivating and a Team Player.
* Knowledge and experience in working with e-sourcing tools and systems is an advantage.
* Relevant experience in the financial services industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Ability to deliver and articulate a presentation confidently and effectively to project committee and management level.
* Excellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make the appropriate decisions and resolve conflicts effectively.
* Performance-driven balanced with proven success of working effectively with project managers and procurement teams.
