The Lean/Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible for:
- Train continuous improvement practices an other lean concepts
- Lead and coach employees to guide operational excellence
- Work cross functionally to ensure that projects meet the company's objectives and business targets
- Manage business activity to track gains and cost savings
- Assist the Continuous Improvement Team in solutions throughout the facility
- Create an instrument to manage benefits and savings that align with continuous improvement plans
The Lean/Continuous Improvement Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a GMP environment and working knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles; Green Belts and Black Belts preferred
- Ability to strategically think and work cross functionally to lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership presence
- Working knowledge of assembly and injection molding processes is a plus!
- Proven accomplishments in continuous improvement projects
- Experience working with OpEx methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
