DSJ Global is currently partnered with a nation leading food productuion manufacture looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and oversee all maintenance activities within our food manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing maintenance processes, ensuring minimal downtime, and maximizing equipment reliability. The Maintenance Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, and their expertise in refrigeration will be highly valuable in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to optimize equipment performance and minimize disruptions to production.
- Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring their availability for maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address maintenance-related concerns and improve equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and costs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance trends and technologies, implementing best practices where applicable.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to develop their skills and maintain a high level of expertise.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of previous maintenance experience within a food manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience and expertise in refrigeration maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in food manufacturing equipment.
- Proven track record of leading and managing maintenance teams effectively.
