Title: Manager, Supply Chain Planning & Analytics
Location: Boston, MA
Flexibility: 2-3 Days On site/Remote
The Position:
The Manager, Supply Chain Planning & Analytics will support various clinical and commercial programs and is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted drug supply across the entire global drug supply network, primarily focused on our RNA programs. He/she will work closely with Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Clinical Ops, Quality, Commercial, and third-party vendors to communicate end-to-end supply/demand requirements.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Supply planning for Key Raw Materials, API, Drug Product, and Finished Product across the product lifecycle for clinical and commercial products.
- Developing supply/demand models based on process development, scale-up, change control, and regulatory activities.
- Providing decision support, scenario planning and operations optimization based on process yields, lead-times, capacity analysis, and product expiry.
- Providing drug supply metrics and inventory visibility to senior leaders in the Clinical, Commercial, and Manufacturing organizations
- Aligns inventory strategies with long term capacity planning.
- Developing analytics, trending and modeling of key operational data
- Developing rigorous strategies to reduce COGS and supply risk
- Leading supplier relationship management initiatives for key internal/external stakeholders
- Participating in the setup and transfer of processes to new vendors and manufacturers
- Participating in the S&OP process and leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
Education and Skills Requirements:
This role requires excellent understanding of global drug supply chain planning as well as financial, strategic and analytical skills. Experience in multiple manufacturing site and/or contract manufacturing environment desirable.
- 6-8 years of direct experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a position directly related to supply planning
- APICS certification is a plus
- ERP experience desired, preferably Oracle
- Experience with Tableau and Alteryx preferred
- Requires domestic and international travel
- BA/BS required; MBA or Master's Degree desired
