The ideal candidate will lead the operations team throughout the production, logistics and warehousing processes to uphold company standards and customer satisfaction.

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will have the following Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing business strategies
- Ensure operations are in line with GMP guidelines
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other industry regulatory standards
- Identify areas for improvement in the facility and apply LEAN, Six Sigma and other methodologies to drive change
- Develop, implement, and uphold operational KPIs and SOPs to maximize productivity in the manufacturing environment
- Facilitate Kaizen events to drive improvements in the facility
- Hire, train and coach employees as future leaders of the business
- Make sure that process and procedures are complying while meeting production objectives and maximizing production efficiency
- Working cross-functionally to solve any problems that may occur in the production process to improve plant performance and quality
- Ensure that products meet customer satisfaction
- Making sure on-going and future production demands are met
- Work with performance meetings and providing methods to improve company performance
- Support the development of new process technology to guarantee groundbreaking production processes
The Manufacturing Operations Manager will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 8+ years of experience in defense or electronics manufacturing
- Functional knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
- LEAN/Six Sigma Certifications a plus
- Expertise in GMP and other industry guidelines
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, GMP'S and ISO 13485 preferred
- Experience working with stakeholders from FDA and other regulatory bodies
- Proven change management experience; CapEx or other project management experience a plus
- Experience leading a dynamic team in a heavily regulated environment
- Excellent communication skills as this person will be expected to collaborate with several other areas of the business and their stakeholders
- Ability to lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve and surpass targets
- Previous experience creating and managing budgets
- SAP and MES a plus
