We currently an opportunity for a Packaging Engineer in the Automotive Industry. This position is with a one of the global suppliers in both Industrial and Automotive products. With the organization hitting historical growth, they are searching for a bright and effective Packaging Engineer that can spearhead the packaging operations as well as be a resource for and number of different departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop packaging proposals and documentation in alignment with customer specifications.
- Enhance existing packaging concepts for both purchased and in-house manufactured components.
- Plan and execute tests, assess and approve packaging samples, and collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful packaging systems.
- Contribute to both future and current projects
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering.
- Exhibit effective communication skills in interactions with external packaging suppliers.
- Demonstrate prior experience in the field of automotive packaging.
