Principal, Category Manager-Indirect Category required for Leading Aerospace and Defense Company

A leading Aerospace and Defense company located in the Orlando, FL area, is looking to hire an Principal, Category Manager for their expanding department. The Principal, Category Manager is responsible for overseeing the spend on various indirect categories, specifically Professional Services, Freight, Logistics
Responsibilities and Desired Experience:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and processes across the entire organization
- Work cross-functionally with other department to determine cost budgets
- Develop and maintain supplier relations
- Work with various indirect category related suppliers to help facilitate organizational needs
- Continually produce concise and achievable goals and objectives for vendors
- Engage with key stakeholders across multiple business units
- Identify process and cost savings opportunities
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement/sourcing management
- Bachelor's Degree (Masters/MBA is preferred)
- Aerospace and Defense background preferred
- Indirect category experience required
- Strong experience working with global stakeholders
- Ability to negotiate contracts and establish vendor relations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership and Management Experience
