Procurement Manager required for Leading Manufacturing Organization
Raleigh/Durham Market (On-site)
A leading Manufacturing company located in the Raleigh/Durham area, is looking to hire an Procurement Manager for their expanding department. The Procurement Manager is responsible for working closely with Project Managers to ensure purchasing objectives are achieved
Responsibilities and Desired Experience:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and processes across the entire organization
- Work cross-functionally with other department to determine cost budgets
- Develop and maintain supplier relations
- Work with various indirect category related suppliers to help facilitate organizational needs
- Continually produce concise and achievable goals and objectives for vendors
- Engage with key stakeholders across multiple business units
- Identify process and cost savings opportunities
- Ability to lead a team through various purchasing objectives
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement/sourcing management
- Bachelor's Degree (Masters/MBA is preferred)
- Manufacturing background preferred
- Experience in a High Mix Low Volume manufacturing environment
- Direct Material Procurement experience required
- Ability to negotiate contracts and establish vendor relations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership and Management Experience
