A Food & Beverage company located in Louisville, KY, is looking to hire a Procurement Manager for their growing department. The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing cost reductions, ongoing supplier development, and supplier development for all direct commodities and ingredients on a global scale.
Responsibilities and Desired Experience:
- Analyze data and forecast trends across multiple commodities for the entire organization
- Identify potential cost savings for commodities
- Communicate effectively and Influence various senior leadership figures across the business
- Effective at mitigating risks, and improving category performance
- Successful background of meeting targets and creating supplier diversity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management/Procurement, Operations Management
- Preferred experience working in the food & beverage space and working with related commodities
- 5 - 7 years of strategic planning & commodity/supply chain management experience
- 5+ years of corporate supply chain, quality, operations, procurement experience
- Compelling verbal and written communication skills
