Company Summary:
As an industry leader in the consumer goods space, we are looking to bring on a Sourcing Manager II - Indirect. The Sourcing Manager for Indirect Categories will be responsible for the development and execution of the global strategy for MRO, facilities, indirect materials, corporate services, and indirect materials. This role will directly report to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, and will require autonomy and strategy of the candidate, as well as expertise within indirect procurement strategy and supplier relationships. This position will have the opportunity to grow and develop within the company and across business units.
The Sourcing Manager II - Indirect will be responsible for:
- Creating and executing fully integrated long-term strategic plans to meet objectives and leveraging spend
- Executing successful supplier sourcing and negotiation to influence supply capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness, as well as managing existing relationships with industry-leading technology vendors
- Take deep analysis of global markets, changing dynamics, and developing sourcing for market intelligence
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to proactively identify value-driven activities that deliver savings, working capital and continuous quality improvement
- Organize and lead cross-functional project teams within MRO, Engineering, Process Improvement, IT, HR, and other business unites
The Sourcing Manager II - Indirect should have the following qualifications:
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate contracts and terms with high-risk suppliers
- Experience leading complex, global negotiations
- 6+ years of sourcing experience with a strong background in one or more of the following areas, sourcing MRO services and purchasing, Plant Services, Project management in IT, Software and hardware, HR services, and other Indirect projects.
- Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree a Plus) (CPSM, CPIM, CPM Preferred)
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations toward appropriate business decisions
- Ability to perform timely & effective RFQ/RFP preparation & analysis
- Must be able to travel independently nationally and internationally (globally); up to 20% travel may be required
