Our client is a pioneering provider of sustainable, highly customizable electric LCV solutions in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Supporting suppliers to ensure compliance with agreed APQP and PPA requirements
- Development of quality assurance agreements with suppliers
- Creation of quality complaints and follow-up of supplier 8D reports
- Conducting supplier audits
- Management of project quality issues in the development phase in cooperation with lead engineering groups and suppliers
- Definition and management of the special features of the components during the development process
- Responsibility for APQP processes and activities in communication with suppliers
- Responsibility for FAI (First Article Inspection) in the development phase
- Review and approval of the PPAP at suppliers before SOP
- Reporting of the quality figures and milestones in the development project as well as derivation and monitoring of measures
- Implementation of efficient quality tools in the prototype phase and control of the part quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in electronics, mechanics, industrial engineering, quality or similar subjects
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- In-depth knowledge of the VDA standards and basic knowledge of the IATF 16949 standard
- Proven skills and experience in supplier process audits
- Sound knowledge of APQP and PPAP
- Advanced knowledge of quality tools and methods. (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Willingness to travel
