Job Description: They are seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding their reputation for delivering high-quality products and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. By supervising the quality assurance function, you will oversee our QA personnel, procedures, and processes to guarantee they meet or exceed industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to ensure QA personnel, procedures, and processes meet recognized industry standards for quality, food safety, technology, process knowledge, and sanitation.
- Oversee and maintain the SSOP & HACCP programs, ensuring compliance with USDA and company requirements while fostering positive relationships with Plant Management, local grading service personnel, and USDA officials.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of statistically designed experiments for lot acceptance, product quality assurance, in-process controls, and yield control programs.
- Maintain effective communication with the QA Manager, keeping all relevant parties informed of issues and conditions requiring attention.
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive record keeping within your assigned responsibilities.
- Provide daily supervision and training to QA Technicians.
- Assume responsibility for QA plant activities in the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager.

Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on management, food manufacturing, or quality.
- Disciplined, forward-thinking, and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
