Senior Buyer

Our client, a leading medical device organization, is searching for a senior buyer who is responsible for tactical procurement support of the site's production schedules to ensure on-time production starts. Monitor and report on raw materials, purchased, and manufactured parts and components, as required.
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for:
- Ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products
- Evaluate supplier quotes to ensure the cost of the products purchased is within the budget
- Prepares reports and maintain metrics as required
- Negotiates preferred pricing with suppliers
- Managing and maintaining supplier relations
The Senior Buyer has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3 - 6 years of experience with procurement required
- Previous experience with electromechanical product lines with different revisions
