Position Overview: As a Senior CAPEX Buyer, you will play a crucial role in an ambitious project in Belgium. You will be responsible for managing the procurement of capital expenditures, ensuring that the project progresses smoothly and within budget.
Your expertise in large projects and knowledge of the mining, chemicals, or oil & gas industries procurement will be highly valuable for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for capital expenditures, optimizing cost and quality.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify the best suppliers for the project.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications:
