Senior Procurement Manager
Our client within the pharmaceuticals industry is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join their team and tight knit group!
The Senior Procurement Manager will manage and provide guidance to the ongoing and upcoming strategic sourcing projects, as well as identify opportunities to develop and execute sourcing action plans. Given the business' different business units and diverse portfolio, the Senior Procurement Manager will also have ownership of the GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) and its suppliers and supplier relationships.
The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing supplier contracts, monitoring any necessary RFP's or contract updates, including new GPO product introductions into the business's portfolio
- Managing both existing and new supplier relationships, including the onboarding of new customers
- Maintaining policies, SOPs, forms, reports, and other required documentation to adhere to both company and federal compliance
- Serving as the main point of contact for the GPO, as well as the expert on the data which includes tracking marketing trends
The Senior Procurement Manager has the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6-10 years' of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain
- Familiarity with GPO's (preferred)
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
