Senior Manager, Production Planning Opportunity with a Leading Snack Food Company

Today one of the World's leading Snack Food companies is looking for a Senior Manager, Production Planning to manage and lead the Demand Planning Process for EMEA. Flexibility to be based in different locations.
This will be executed through providing strong leadership to the Supply Chain team and managing the systems, forecasts, people and materials according to the established policies, procedures, specifications, and customer requirements.
The Senior Manager, Production Planning will have the following responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Lead the Forecasting team to develop and uphold a 24 month rolling forecast
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer service in order to recognize noteworthy variances and then adjust the forecast accordingly
- Facilitate a successful IBP Process
- Develop, train and mentor 4-6 direct reports
- Obtain input across all necessary SKUs
- Regularly update production planning team with accurate item-level changes in the forecast
- Communicate updated Long Range Plan (LRP) assumptions to the Finance Department
The Ideal Senior Manager, Production Planning will have the following skill set:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
- 6+ years of relevant experience in a Food or FMCG environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably in FMCG or Food industry
- Proven ability to lead and drive continuous improvement
- APICS or PMP Certifications preferred, but not required
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and have exemplar analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- German and English speaking
