A Fortune 100 Global Food Production Company is now looking to enhance the productivity of their procurement and sourcing with a new Senior Procurement Manager for Ingredients. They will lead the transformation of the organization's ingredients and commodities procurement. This individual will be responsible for creating synergies across the ingredients procurement group and develop "best in class" sourcing strategy for a growing team.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Manager for Ingredients:
- Evaluating ingredients and additives spending and implementing strategy for optimal processes
- Maintain relationships and develop buy in with executive stakeholders
- Build up and manage 4 direct report
- Monitor +600MM in annual spend responsibility
- Make essential procurement decisions on existing and potential suppliers for direct categories
- Initiate substantial cost savings for sourcing - including commodities and ingredients
The successful candidate will preferably have:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or significant relevant experience in direct procurement and sourcing
- Extensive knowledge in ingredients and additives - including additives, preservatives, dairy, flour, spices
- A collaborative, innovative, and efficient leadership style within a fast-paced environment
- Known for a track record of success in leading strategic purchasing initiatives
