Senior Structural Analysis Engineer Needed for Aerospace Manufacturer!

An innovative manufacturer of general aviation aircraft located in beautiful South Florida is looking to bring on a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to their Structures Team. This Engineer will be responsible for calculating the stress in an aircraft component, knowing the possible failure modes, and having a background in all of the various aircraft components (ribs, stringers, spars, etc.) in order to be successful. By joining this passionate team, you will have the opportunity to get involved in every detail of every aircraft, rather than being pigeon-holed to just one. Plus, you'll be in a sunny location where you can use your three-day weekends (every other week) to go fish, kayak, surf, or just relax on a beach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
- Minimum five (5) years in structural analyses, test and design or equivalent education and experience is desired.
- Detailed knowledge of aircraft with respect to structure, materials and processes specifications, and certification requirements is essential. Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 23 and/or 25, or Civil Aviation Authority (CAR) 3.
- Experience in Finite Element analysis and modeling is required. Familiarity with FORTRAN, Visual Basic, C++ computer programming is preferred.
