I am currently supporting a global leader in embedded technology. Due to an increase in electric vehicle research, development and production, they are experiencing a lot of demand! They offer a combined portfolio of software, middle-ware, hardware and IoT services to the 4.0 industry. They offer standard products and tailor-made solutions based on embedded technology and ems to multiple industries.
Due to growth and demand they are looking to recruit multiple procurement professionals who wants to work in a fast-paced environment and is seeking a new challenge to join their dynamic teams.
Responsibilities:
- Source electronics and mechanical parts
- Support NPI development projects
- Create project timelines to evaluate costs, supplier alignments and sourcing partnerships with suppliers as well as internal stakeholders
- Cost optimization and analysis
- Interact with the relevant project teams and department to implement vendors, sourcing activities, sourcing strategies and cost reduction proposals
- Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiations
- Ensure service levels meet or exceed expectations for clients
- Create and maintain detailed project timelines and plans, material timings and production strategies
- Lead and conduct cost reduction negotiations
- Proactively work cross functionally with the relevant team to ensure quality checks
- Support the NPI team at early stages of testing and manufacturing phases
- Roll out all individual projects into global KPIs
Required Skills:
- Fluent English and C1 German (Must be able to negotiate, conduct meetings in German and have excellent literature skills)
- 3 years' experience in Electronics and Hardware procurement
- Master's degree is minimum or an equivalent technical degree
